Constitution of the United Provinces of the Badlands

Introduction

“The great leader declares that our empire is under a state of eternal emergency. Thus, the dictator has autocratic powers established. Anyone who violates his sacred laws shall be punished greatly. They pervert and defile the great society created by Hector Black. All hail the great leader!”

The Four Fundamental Canons

The Four Fundamental Canons are the first four points of the constitution of the United Provinces of the Badlands. They are often memorized as summaries by the school children in the Badlands, and they serve as important points in the state’s ideology. These are considered as unquestionable beliefs by the Badlands government and anyone who questions any clause of them are considered extremists who need to be severely punished.

Canon I

“The Republic of Skeletinia is hereby abolished. In its place shall be a sacred nation of the purest people: The United Provinces of the Badlands. The great leader shall have absolute power. No law shall hinder his pure and holy will.”

Canon II

“There shall be only one party that controls the government of the Badlands: The Badlands Center of Ruling, Excellence, and Worthiness. They shall be the extension of the great leader’s omnibenevolent will. They shall have great power, though the great leader will be greater.”

Canon III

The great leader has rightfully declared with absolute truth “the so-called right to free speech is really a license to speak evil”. With this, he has destroyed the abominable license to speak evil and blaspheme against the great leader.

Canon IV

“The police of the Badlands shall have no boundaries in enforcing the laws of the great leader. Anyone who resists the authorities resists the great leader. This is because they are an extension of the great and omnibenevolent will of our great leader.”

Canon V

“There shall be limits to the practice of religion. Any religion whose doctrine teaches hate against the great leader shall be annihilated from our pure nation.”

The Fifth Canon limits the practice of religion to what the leader is fine with.

Canon VI

“The Anthem of our great nation shall be the song of songs: All hail the great leader! Our flag shall be a great flag that the Badlands Center of Ruling, Excellence, and Worthiness intends: the triad flag. The United Provinces of the Badlands shall also bear the triad of the Badlands. Anyone who defiles these symbols grand symbols intentionally shall be greatly punished, for they have shown their contempt for the great leader.”

Canon VII

“The King and Queen of Beaker and the president of Maenian shall have great power too. They shall have the power to create any law so long as it does not contradict the great will of our leader.

This canon was added after The United Provinces of the Badlands took over Maenian.

Canon VIII

“Any attempt to abridge the rights of our great leader is entitled to shall result in great punishment.”

Canon IX

“Anyone who has weapons shall surrender it to our great government. Any member not part of the Badlands Center of Ruling, Excellence, and Worthiness shall not any weapons, which is defined as any object whose teleology is to any amount of damage on any existing thing. The exception is ones that are used for peaceful things.”
